The Scottish Highlands

The area around Staffin has yielded the most impressive collection of Scottish Dinosaur remains with some preserved footprints being discovered as recently as 2004. We kept a lookout but didn't make any new discoveries! Not far down the road we stopped again to do the walk out to the cliffs and the old ruin of the Diatomite Processing plant that closed down in 1914.
